This 10-Minute Morning Manifestation Routine Will Help Get Your Day Off To A Bright Start
My typical mornings used to be far from peaceful. If you’re a mom, I’m sure you can relate that mornings are probably the most chaotic time of the day as you try to get everyone up, fed, dressed and out the door in time.
Before I implemented a morning manifestation routine, my mornings used to look something like this….
Alarm would go off.
I would hit snooze 3-4 times until I’d finally drag myself out of bed already hating the first part of my day.
I’d get myself ready.
Get the kids ready while they whine, cry and complain that they’re too tired to get up.
Quickly feed them while gulping down my coffee.
Get frustrated because the kids aren’t moving fast enough.
The rest of my day will then be a chaotic hurried mess mirroring what my morning was.
Sound familiar?
Starting my day overwhelmed, disorganized and frustrated set the tone for the rest of my day. And as you can imagine that didn’t go so well. This not only left me feeling completely disheveled all day but it definitely contributed to my feelings of failure, sadness, and anxiousness. Until finally I said enough is enough. I started reading about morning rituals and the importance of morning manifestation routines. A structured start to your day sets you up for success and many entrepreneurs and influencers around the world swear by having a routine in the morning that they follow religiously. Why?
Because a morning routine sets the tone for the whole day. And if you do it consistently, every single day, you will be setting yourself up for a happy, successful life.
Before you begin, find a quiet and comfortable place in your house and make sure you allow yourself enough time in the morning for yourself before the kids wake. Having quiet time in the morning to be still in your thoughts will get you centered and ready to tackle the day in the best mental state possible.
It’s only 10 minutes of your day. You can do this.
1. Breathe deeply for 3 minutes and be grateful for every breath.
Focus on each breathe and feel your chest rise and fall. If you find your mind trailing off (which it will), gently bring it back to your breath.
2. Practice Gratitude.
Take 2 minutes to look up and be grateful for all the small things in life that mean a lot to you. This could be the smell of the fresh brewed coffee you just made, or a lunch date with a friend you haven’t seen in a while. Say “thank you” for the things that are going well in your life. When you put out the energy of gratitude, it sends a signal to the Universe that you are open to receiving more pleasant things as your day progresses.
3. For 1 minute, remember the most loving moments in your life and feel your heart opening.
It could be the birth of your children, the day you married your partner, or as simple as someone reaching out to you and offering their help when you needed it the most. Envision how you happy it made you feel and how it allowed you to open your heart to receive more loving moments.
4. Take 1 minute to give and send love to everybody close to you and everybody in this world.
Do this for those who have hurt you as well because everyone that comes into your life does so for a reason. Thank them for teaching you life’s lessons and making you the person you are today. Wish them well.
5. Manifest your dream life.
Visualize and see yourself from your own eyes, living your dream life for 2 minutes. End with making the intention to create a great day and see the day unfolding in a positive way. This is my favorite part of my routine because setting daily intentions has given me the confidence to manifest the things I want in life.
6. Appreciation not Expectation.
Decide to focus today on appreciation in place of expectation. Do this for 1 minute and say repeatedly in your head, “Today I will focus on appreciation in place of expectation.”
7. Give, help, and love somebody today without expecting anything back.
Giving to others whether its your time, services, or skills is extremely rewarding. Doing it without expecting anything in return and doing it purely because you want to is exhilarating and freeing.
I hope you enjoyed this weeks wellness Wednesday post. It’s one I was very excited to share with you all because adding this 10 minute manifestation routine to my life has improved my overall mental clarity in such a short period of time.
If you have tried a morning routine like this, I’d love to hear your thoughts on what you liked, didn’t like and if you have any suggestions for me. Leave me a comment below!
