A camel wool coat is a timeless classic piece that every woman should have in her wardrobe. It easily compliments your outfit, no matter what the occasion.

The sun came out today! YAY!
It’s been raining non-stop in the Bay Area with serious flood warnings so we have pretty much been stuck at home the earlier part of this week. We even almost got evacuated from our home due to the floods in our area but thankfully that did not happen! I didnt want to take a chance getting stuck somewhere with the kids so we made the most out of it and had movie marathons and snuggled up on the couch for a good three days in a row.
They’ve also been under the weather lately so it was the perfect excuse to stay in, order in pho noodle soup for the kids and binge watch Moana which has been playing non-stop at our house since it became available on digital download on Tuesday. I don’t like to be cooped up inside the house for too long though so I was seriously starting to get cabin fever. As soon as I saw the sun peek through, I had to get outside!
Now that Spring is on the horizon (23 days to be exact), I’ve been seeing some great winter coats go on major sale lately.
My favorite winter coat of all time is the Camel Wool Coat.
It’s so classic, chic, warm, versatile and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. My coat has been with me for many years and I’ve worn it with gowns to jeans and Chuck Taylors.
A classic camel wool coat is the kind of item that I don’t mind purchasing for the following year because it will never go out of style and I can wear it year after a year. The coat you see me wearing was purchased years ago at a Banana Republic Factory Outlet for less than $100! It actually comes with a fur collar that’s removable! (I keep the fur on if I’m wearing more formal attire). It was such a good deal and still to this day one of my best finds in a Clearance rack!
As much as I love great deals, adding this Burberry wool cashmere trench coat is a dream of mine that I hope I can make come true one day. It is so beautiful and a coat like this is really an investment, isn’t it? At least that’s what I keep telling myself when I look at the price tag.
In the meantime, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite camel coats at a great price point. Like this Calvin Klein wool-cashmere blend coat for under $170 at Macy’s! Or this Michael Kors one under $155!
What’s your favorite winter coat that you always have in your wardrobe?
Fabulous camel coat and definitely a great grab off a clearance sale. I can’t believe it’s something you bought years ago, looks brand new and so chic.
Such a cute coat babe! It’s weird reading this on a day where we are reaching the 70’s on February 24th! 🙂
Your coat is so pretty! Camel is such a great classic color that goes with everything. Happy Friday!

That coat looks great! It’s always refreshing to see and wear lighter colored coats during the winter, since most of the time everything is dark and grey!
