If you haven’t gotten your Halloween costumes yet, it’s not too late but you better hurry!
Can you believe we are less than 2 weeks away from Halloween? I mean, seriously, where did the month go? Last time I checked it was still September. This month has been super busy for us enjoying all things Fall. We’ve gone to so many pumpkin patches I’ve lost count, attended harvest festivals, we even started baking at home. I’m also on the board of Gabriel’s PTA at his school and have been busy with meetings and school activities. I love being busy like this and always having something to do!
Because of all the craziness though, I nearly forgot about Halloween. I’m not a huge Halloween person. It’s like Thanksgiving’s long lost cousin and I always seem to wait until the last minute to put together Halloween costumes. This year, we avoided going to the stores to check out costumes because 1. it’ll be utter chaos with a 5 year old and an 8 month old and 2. we simply don’t have time to go the store when you can just order it on Amazon, so thats just what we did!
Amazon has a HUGE selection of Halloween costumes. You name it, they got it. You want to be the chick from the last Star Wars movie, they got it. What about Disney’s Maleficent? They got that too. Or how about Minnie Mouse, Waldo, or Anakin Skywalker? Whatever you decide just please do not be a clown!
After a few minutes of browsing online, we found a Fireman costume for Gabriel and a Sulley costume for Emilia. OMG, Emilia is so adorable in her little Monster costume, I can’t handle it! It’s her first Halloween and I want to make sure to capture every moment. She on the other hand has no idea and kept tugging at her head piece. And Gabriel looks like a legit Fireman! I mean, I’m super impressed at the quality of these costumes. It’s like a shrunken version of the real thing, its so cute!
I still haven’t found one yet for Rowell and I and we may just attempt to DIY it at home. We’ll see. Like I said, I’m not a huge Halloween fanatic and seriously lack the energy right now to come up with something. Last year Rowell went as a Banana and I as a Penguin. Yep. We were those people.
What will you be this year for Halloween? Have you gotten your halloween costumes yet? Leave me a comment below!
