This year when you’re shopping for friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors, please do not forget your children’s teachers. If anyone is more deserving of a token of appreciation, it’s definitely our son’s Kindergarten teacher.
Gabriel can be a handful at times (ok lets be honest, MOST times) and I want to show her that we appreciate her hard work, dedication and passion she puts into teaching young children all year. I also want to teach my son that teachers are special and that they are a critical part of our community that we should respect and look up to.
It’s so cute, when we were at the mall doing our Christmas shopping, I told Gabriel to keep an eye out for something he thinks his teacher will like. The things he would point out to me were hilarious. Like a massage chair “so she can relax” (he knows Mama loves her massages) or a pair of swimming goggles so that “she can see the fish under water”. Kids are so adorable and completely speak the truth! We ended up getting her a beautiful burgundy scarf, Lindor assorted truffles and a lavender scented candle that we will put in a gift bag along with our Christmas card.
If you’re looking to find a gift for a teacher or even a friend, co-worker, or neighbor, here are some items that I’ve found for under $25!
I always go with chocolate. 🙂 It’s a great little treat and a great way to take a little time out.
I agree! Everyone loves chocolate! My favorite are the dark chocolate truffles from Lindor. So good!
I loved the black beanie and the lipsticks the most — they’re just perfect! 🙂
I love those items too. It was so tempting not to buy some of these items for myself! 🙂
Teachers are so under appreciated and deserve something nice. When in doubt I go with the lavender scented candle. As teachers are stressed out and need to relax.
Oh my gosh, I couldn’t agree more! They deal with so much! Especially the ones who teach the really young ones like my son. Bless them!
I’d go for the makeup stuff! Thanks for this list.
You’re welcome! Thanks for stopping by.
Great suggestions! Teachers are always difficult to buy for, since you don’t really “Know” them all that well. It’s hard to come up with unique gift ideas. Thanks for the much needed inspiration.
Totally! I find that sweet treats always does the trick. 🙂
Oh fabulous list! I love the idea of slippers as a gift, I think itd be really nice gesture.
Thank you! The slippers I linked are so warm and comfy too. 🙂
