Last week I made chicken wings for the first time in my Instant Pot and my life was forever changed! I could not believe how quickly and easy it was to make, not to mention super tasty and falling off the bone! I mean, it was restaurant quality good. That’s how good it was! And the fact that I was able to make at home in under 30 minutes was amazing and I had to share it with you all.
The best part of this recipe is that all the ingredients are Whole30 approved and the kids will love it!
If you’re looking for an easy recipe to make for a party, football season or any day of the week where you’re looking to make something quick, these chicken wings are for you! Enjoy!
What You’ll Need:
2 lbs of chicken wings
1 cup of chicken stock
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of white pepper
1/2 tsp of smoked paprika
1/2 tsp of garlic powder
1/2 tsp of Old Bay seasoning
Franks Red Hot Sauce
How to Make it:
Wash and pat dry the wings and put them in a large mixing bowl
In a separate smaller bowl, combine all the seasonings
Add to seasonings to the chicken wings and mix well
Let it sit for 30 minutes
Add the chicken stock to the Instant Pot and place the wiring rack inside
Add all chicken wings on top of the wiring rack
Set the IP to High Pressure for 5 minutes (trust me 5 minutes is all you’ll need)
Let it naturally release pressure for 10 minutes
While you’re waiting, set the oven to broil
Make sure all the pressure is released on the IP before removing the lid
Remove the wings from the IP and transfer to a baking sheet with a rack that has been sprayed with non-stick oil
Place the wings on the sheet pan and broil for 5 minutes
Turn the wings over and continue to broil for 3 more minutes
Transfer the wings to a large mixing bowl and add Franks Red Hot Sauce.
Add as much as you’d like but make sure all the wings are coated. I don’t like mine too spicy so I only added few shakes into the bowl and it turned out perfectly.
