Going to a festival in and around your city is a great way to support your local businesses!
Ahhh, ’tis the season for apple picking, pumpkin patches and fall festivals. I know I say this a lot but this is my favorite time of year and Fall is my favorite season. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside and gets me excited for the holidays. Now that Fall is in full swing, there are so many fun festivals that are popping up all over the Bay Area.
Last weekend, we attended the Los Gatos Fall Festival and although the weather didn’t feel like Fall (it was still 75+ degrees out), it was still a great time for the kids. There were games, arts and crafts, a petting zoo, food trucks, beer & wine and a live band.
We met a lot of great small businesses in the area that focused on kids activities and family fun which is perfect for us.
We purchased game tickets from them and Gabe had fun playing with the other kids. He even got to pick and decorate his own little pumpkin and he made a beaded necklace which he was very proud of! He has worn it to school every day this week!
We plan on checking out other festivals in the area and I urge you to get out there and support your local businesses as well!
I compiled a list of kid-friendly festivals in and around the Bay Area that I am interested in going to with the family. Check it out if you live in the Bay Area!
Are there any other fun festivals you think we should check out? Leave me a comment below!
