Harbor Island is the most romantic place in San Diego.
I may be a little biased because it’s the place where Rowell proposed to me 8 years ago on a chilly Autumn night. He caught me by surprise because I thought we were just meeting up with friends for dinner. He said he wanted to stop by here first to take a quick picture. Being the photographer that he is, I didn’t think anything of it. But once he started acting all nervous, I knew something was up. He got down on one knee and presented me with the most perfect ring and the rest is a blur after that. On our wedding day, Harbor Island was where we took our beautiful wedding pictures. It was the perfect location for a photo shoot.
8 years, 2 kids, and countless memories later, Harbor Island will always be where it all began.
Because Harbor Island holds sentimental value for us, we made it a point to come here during our recent trip to San Diego.
We had a very rare date night and before heading out for dinner we decided to stop by Harbor Island, take a walk and snap some pics.
It was a gorgeous evening and we enjoyed watching the boats sail by.
We didn’t have dinner on Harbor Island that night but there are some really awesome restaurants nearby that offer spectacular views, such as C-Level and Island Prime. I highly recommend both restaurants.
About a year ago, Rowell surprised me with this Chanel Boy Bag. I’ve been eying this bag for about 6 months! Isn’t it a beauty?
