Happy Valentines Day!
What a great day full of love, flowers, sweet treats and champagne. My husband and I, as some of you know, are doing Whole 30 for the month of February so we don’t get to indulge this time around but I hope you all are able to!
I love seeing all the Valentine’s themed posts on all my social media and it got me inspired to dress up in this pretty red dress that I can twirl in. I got it from Anthropologie years ago and still love it. It’s one those items in my closet that I cannot bring myself to give away. Here’s a Micheal Kors red cap sleeve midi wrap dress that is similar and oh so chic. I want!
Speaking of items that I love, this black faux leather jacket that I recently purchased from Nordstrom is so good! It went on sale for under $60 so I had to order it even thought I was a little skeptical. I’m so glad I did because it literally goes with everything. I’ve even worn it with joggers, a t-shirt and my white Converse and it instantly made me look put together and cool.
And I am not cool.
Rowell and I aren’t very big into going out and celebrating Valentine’s day at a restaurant. We find that its more stressful than anything because its more crowded, parking is difficult and its usually a set menu. So we opt for a night in, make dinner together, enjoy good wine and cuddle up on the couch with a movie.
We can’t have wine this time, but maybe I can convince him to give me a shoulder massage instead.
What do you all like to do on Valentine’s Day? Are you a going out or a stay in kind of person, like me?
